Dental Artistry is a family dental practice with offices in St. Cloud and Orlando, Florida. This page explains what we do with your information — on this website, in the office, and in the messages we send you. It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past.

What we collect
There are three different kinds of information here, and they are not treated the same way.
What you give us
Your name, phone number, email address and anything you type into a form or tell us on the phone. You choose what to share. If you would rather not put something in writing, call us and say it instead.
Your dental records
Your medical and dental history, X-rays and clinical images, treatment notes, and your insurance details. This is protected health information. It is held under HIPAA and under Florida law, and it is not part of the website — it lives in our practice management system.
What the website records
Very little, and we would rather say so plainly than pad this section. This site loads no advertising trackers, no social media pixels and no third-party fonts. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Some things on this site take you somewhere else, and those places have their own policies: our online scheduling runs on Oryx, financing applications run on Cherry, “Get directions” opens Google Maps, and our social links open Facebook and Instagram. Once you are on their page, you are on their terms.
What we use it for
- Booking, confirming, moving and reminding you about appointments.
- Treating you, and keeping the records a dental practice is required to keep.
- Answering the question you actually asked when you called or wrote.
- Verifying your benefits and submitting claims to your insurer.
- Explaining what treatment will cost you before it starts.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. There is no version of this practice where that is on the table.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number we may text you about appointments — a reminder, a confirmation, or a change to a time. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Reply STOP to any message and the texts end. Reply HELP, or call us on (407) 593-0600, if you need a hand. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile number and your consent to be texted are not shared with anyone for their own marketing, and are not sold. They are used to message you, and that is all.
Who else sees it
Your information is shared only where treating you requires it or the law does:
- A specialist or laboratory involved in your care.
- Your insurer, to verify benefits and process a claim.
- Service providers who run systems on our behalf — scheduling, messaging, records — under agreements that bind them to protect it.
- A court or a public authority, where we are legally required to comply.
- Anyone you tell us to share it with.
How it is kept
Electronic records are encrypted and access is limited to the people who need it to do their job. Paper records are locked. Our team is trained on privacy, and that training is repeated rather than done once. No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise, but this is not treated as a formality here.
Your rights
You can ask to see your records, ask for a copy, and ask us to correct something that is wrong. You can withdraw consent to be contacted, in any channel, at any time — that does not affect your care. You can ask how your information has been shared.

Children
We treat children, and a parent or guardian gives consent and holds the rights over that record. The website itself is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from a child through it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes here with a new date on it. If a change is significant we will say so rather than quietly swap the page.
